BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim Is Making Her Hollywood Debut
BLACKPINK JENNIE KIM – South Korean superstar Jennie Kim of BLACKPINK is making her Hollywood debut in the upcoming show ‘The Idol’ starring alongside Lily-Rose Depp.
South Korean singer, rapper, and actress Jennie Kim is better known by her stage name, Jennie. In August 2016, she made her debut as a member of the YG Entertainment girl group BLACKPINK. The K-pop group is made up of Rose, Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo.
Jennie is also one of Calvin Klein’s brand ambassadors. She released her first song as a solo artist, “Solo,” in November 2018. The song was a commercial hit, topping the Gaon Digital Chart and the World Digital Songs chart on Billboard.
Blackpink’s latest track “Pink Venom,” which is a part of their upcoming album Born Pink, marks Jennie’s recording comeback. The K-pop group is also scheduled for a world tour beginning this October.
BLACKPINK’s albums include Square One (2016), Square Two (2016), Square Up (2018), Kill This Love (2019), and The Album (2020).

Jennie Kim makes her Hollywood debut in the upcoming program “The Idol,” which is helmed by Sam Levinson, who also created the popular television program “Euphoria.”
The 26-year-old Korean superstar is seen in several scenes with the lead actress Lily-Rose Depp in the official trailer for “The Idol.” Chelsea Fuji, a fellow cast member and dancer, revealed that despite Jennie’s temporary injury, she continued to work on the HBO series.
