Kapuso actress Andrea Torres has broken her silence on the recent interview of her ex-boyfriend Derek Ramsay claiming that he was the one who initiated their breakup.
Reports surfaced that Derek and Andrea ended their one-year relationship started to circulate in November of last year. Later on, the hunk actor confirmed that they already broke up without detailing the reason for their split.
Just recently, in an interview with veteran showbiz reporter/columnist Cristy Fermin, Derek elaborated by saying the reason why they broke up was their values.
He stressed the difference between his and Andrea’s values and he was the one who initiated the breakup over the phone. Following this, Andrea Torres appeared to have answered him through an intriguing post.
Derek mentioned in a separate interview that his reason for speaking up was to put an end to this issue. He said that he haven’t divulged all the details but admitted that his ex-girlfriend’s parents are just among the reasons for their split.
During a recent press conference for her new series The Legal Wives, Andrea was asked about the recent statement of her ex-boyfriend. Based on the article on gmanetwork.com, the actress said that “it’s been months!” and that she does not see the essence of discussing the details in public.
“What good will come out of it?” she said. Andrea Torres also stressed that she had moved on. “If he truly respects me and my family, he’ll let us have our peace,” the actress added.
Months after Derek broke up with Andrea, the actor was linked to Ellen Adarna. Two months after being together as a couple, Derek proposed to Ellen.
