La Primera Contravida actress Cherie Gil died at 59 years old and she died because of cancer. She decided not to let the people to know about her condition and she spent her remaining months with her children in New York.
She sold all her properties in the country, shaved her head, and went abroad to spend time with them. She was receiving treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering – Cancer Center. She died on August 5 and many people including her celebrity friends and fans were left heartbroken after hearing this news about her.
Her remains got cremated and based on a previous article, her family was planning to bring her ashes to Bukidnon, one of her favorite places.
And now, shortly after death, her daughter, Bianca Rogoff was spotted partying and one netizen commented on this. Cherie’s daughter received a personal message that said, “Your mom just passed away and your in a party now?”
She lambasted such a comment. According to her, if her mother was there, she’d be the first one to tell her to do it and enjoy life as much as possible – “adventurously and joyfully”. She said that life is sacred and it must be honored and since, its her life, she needs no one to dictate her on what to do and what not to do.
“I am grieving and that is similarly sacred—but it is not my job to show you that. I am not here to perform for those who chose to follow me,” she added.
She also said that anyone is free to unfollow while she does what she wants and that is enjoying the life that her mother has granted her.
