#WalangPasok: August 15, 2022 Declared as Special Non-Working Day in Bulacan Province
#WALANGPASOK – The Malacañang Palace has declared August 15, 2022, as a special non-working day in the province of Bulacan.
Nowadays, most students and workers love holidays so they can spend more time with their family, friends and loved ones. Some of us also spend holidays taking a rest or vacation to relax for a short period of time.
Recently, the Facebook page “Yuri Bautista – Batang Minuyan Proper” has posted the announcement of a special non-working holiday in the province of Bulacan. The post circulates online and garnered various reactions from the online community.
The holiday has been declared in the province of Bulacan to mark the celebration of its Founding Anniversary. The announcement was based on Proclamation No. 19 with the aim to give residents the full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion.
Executive Secretary Vitor D. Rodriguez signed the proclamation under authority of the President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. the proclamation was signed last July 26, 2022.

BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES
PROCLAMATION NO. 19
DECLARING MONDAY, 15 AUGUST 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN.
WHEREAS, on 15 August 2022, Monday, the Province of Bulacan will mark the celebration of its Founding Anniversary;
WHEREAS it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Bulacan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, VICTOR D. RODRIGUEZ, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Monday, 15 August 2022, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Bulacan.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed. Done in the City of Manila, this 26th day of Two Thousand and Twenty Two. July in the year of Our Lord.”
