Angelica Jones made this revelation about Sen. Win Gatchalian
Former actress Angelica Jones revealed that years ago, Senate President Win Gatchalian courted her, but she rejected him.
The Senator is the politician Angelica wishes she had accepted back then. The former actress admitted that she regrets not giving him a chance.
“Miss Flawless” recently made headlines following her appearance on the Your Honor podcast, where she shared several revelations, including details about a sitting senator who had once courted her.
Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, on the September 1 episode of the Kapuso afternoon talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Angelica Jones admitted that the politician she referred to on the podcast was Sen. Sherwin “Win” Gatchalian.
During Tito Boy’s “Fast Talk” segment, he asked Angelica which politician she wished she had said “yes” to in the past.
“Si Senator Sherwin Gatchalian,” the former actress said. On the other hand, Angelica said that she was so young back then.
“Long, long time ago na po, bata pa po ako. When I was 22, siguro naging boyfriend ko muna po si former consular Bobby Yan. Mas una ko pong naging boyfriend si Consular Bobby Yan when I was 21,” she shared.
Angelica said that her mother used to be extremely strict, even going so far as to accompany her on dates, including her meetings with Bobby and Win.
According to Angelica, she and the current Senate President never ended up in a relationship because of her mother’s overprotectiveness.
“Hindi po kami dumating sa point na ‘yun kasi nga po that time, sobrang overprotective po ‘yung mom ko. Hindi po ako nakakalabas mag-isa. Nakalabas po kami, nagkaroon ng dinner date, pero kasama ko po ang mama ko,” the former actress revealed.
Eventually, Angelica was not able to answer Sen. Win as her suitor. Then, the politician was already linked to another woman.
