Jane de Leon Poses For Fashion Magazine
JANE DE LEON – Kapamilya actress Jane de Leon channeled the iconic superhero Darna as the latest cover star of Metro magazine.
“Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series” will be top-billed by Kapamilya actress Jane De Leon along with Joshua Garcia as Narda’s love interest and Janella Salvador as Valentina. The show will air on weekdays at 8 p.m. starting Aug. 15 on the Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney TV, TV5, and A2Z. It will also be available on Kapamilya Online Live, The Filipino Channel, and iWantTFC.
The tv series’ nearing arrival comes 3 years after Jane was introduced as the lead actress in the fantaserye, which hurdled production delays primarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The full trailer of “Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series” was released last month. It showed Narda’s superhero journey and her reluctance to fulfill her destiny of becoming Darna. It will replace FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano which will end its 7-year run until August 12.

Jane De Leon is the cover star for the latest issue of Metro magazine. Donning red, the signature color of Darna, she channeled the iconic superhero as the latest cover star of the magazine.
Released on Thursday, August 11, the issue called “Flying High: The Rise of Jane de Leon” puts the spotlight on the 23-year-old celebrity.
The magazine sees Jane wearing red outfits from a gown to a bodysuit. She posed in a number of pics as if she’s set to fly like Darna.
In a previous article, Star For All Seasons Vilma Santos surprised Jane de Leon with a recorded message. The veteran actress gave her blessing to the young actress. She said, “Ngayon, Jane, na ikaw ang napiling Darna, bigyan mo sila ng inspirasyon na meron pa ring pagmamahal, meron pa ring tiwala, at meron pa ring pag-asa. Ang daming humawak ng batong ‘yan.”
“Ngayon, Jane, na sa ‘yo ang bato. Pangalagan mo iyang mabuti. Maging ehemplo ka ng henerasyon ngayon. I wish you all good luck. Nandito lang ako to support you,” Vilma said.
