The Kapamilya noontime show is currently being aired on free television again through a block time deal with TV5. Despite the lack of a franchise in their network, they were still able to find ways to reach out to their viewers through their social media platforms and block time deals.

In the show, the main host Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda called out a Miss Q&A contestant’s insensitive statement in her introduction. It was something the contestant did not do during the rehearsal and was done on the spot of the competition.

“O ano, nagulat kayo ano? Akala niyo ngongo ako, ‘no? Mongoloid kaya ako,” says the contestant that rendered the hosts and the live audience speechless.

Such topics are a bit too sensitive to be included in a joke. This might offend people with these abilities or the family of people with special needs such as this.

Vice called out the contestant and immediately said, “As early as now, we would like to inform everyone that the views and opinions and the words of the candidates do not necessary reflect the views and opinions of the hosts, the show and the network.”

The contestant also quickly apologized and admitted her mistake. She confirmed that it was not the same performance she rehearsed. She apologized to the hosts and staff of the show. It was accordingly unintentional, he just wants to bring some laughter to the people but turned out it was a joke gone wrong.
