Catriona Gray Explains Delay In BBP 2022 Amid Announcement

Here’s what Catriona Gray said about the issue that transpired during the announcement of winners in Binibining Pilipinas 2022.

CATRIONA GRAY – Binibining Pilipinas host Catriona Gray finally explained what happened during that small delay in the pageant.

This year’s Bb. Pilipinas International 2022 is Nicole Borromeo. The local pageant Bb. Pilipinas 2022 was held last July 31, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. And in the middle of announcing the winners, based on a previous article, something caused a delay for the hosts to go on with the announcing.

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss Grand International 2016 1st runner-up Nicole Cordoves were the hosts. Their management already clarified this little delay amid the announcement of winners and in an official statement, the hosts were cleared stating that they have announced the winners accurately.

And now, also speaking about the same matter is Gray who stressed the same thing – that they did their job as hosts excellently by mentioning the rightful winner precisely.

Accordingly, everything was rechecked. She said, “Mr. Ocho later rechecked the cards and confirmed that the results previously announced were correct, which became the decisive factor in moving forward with the announcement.”

And as former candidates, they exactly know what to do having gone through everything in that field. With this, she assured if there was something wrong that they did during that moment, they’ll correct it. But as stated, they announced it right and SGV & Co. partner and representative have validated it already.
