This gave some people a bit of something to be bothered about. Have they announced the wrong winner? Is this a Steve Harvey moment? These were just a couple of questions lingering online that got ignited when it happened with the hosts.

And finally addressing this is the management of the two hosts, Cornerstone Entertainment. Accordingly, Cordoves and Gray accurately announced the winners. The results were even rechecked for verification and clarification and the real winner was announced correctly – Nicole Borromeo from Cebu is indeed the winner.

The statement said:

“The winners announced by the hosts were accordingly based on the titles printed on the cards, which were handed over by SGV & Co. partner and representative, Mr. Ocho. Mr. Ocho even rechecked the cards and confirmed that the results announced by the hosts were accurate. We hope that this will put to rest any controversy concerning last night’s results.”

  • Bb. Pilipinas International: Nicole Borromeo
