How Pia Wurtzbach Prepared For NYC Marathon

Pia Wurtzbach is a Pinay model, actress, and Miss Universe 2015 titleholder. She is one of the four Filipinas to earn the title.
Last May, the 32-year-old celebrity revealed that she’s engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Scottish businessman Jeremy Jauncey. On Instagram, Pia shared a video of her and Jeremy’s getaway in Amanpulo, Palawan. She also shared shots of her beautiful engagement ring as she shows her and Jeremy enjoying the beach.
Meanwhile, Pia Wurtzbach is now preparing to run for the New York City marathon. It is an annual marathon (42.195 km or 26.219 mi) that courses through the 5 boroughs of the city.
Pia took to her Instagram account to give her fans a glimpse of her training for the upcoming NYC marathon. She got candid about her emotions and just penned what she feels throughout her journey.

Pia Wurtzbach said the NYC marathon will be the first one she will be participating in. She revealed she started her training last February.
The idea to join the NYC marathon came during the New Year when she had COVID-19 and felt “just sick and tired of being sick and tired.”
Pia Wurtzbach also admitted that when she registered for the marathon, she did not sign under a company or organization. She gave a donation and calmly waited in line to participate, just like any other regular person.
Due to the gelato and pizza, she said that her training in Italy was rather challenging.
