Alex Gonzaga Epic Fail Prank On Mariel Padilla Goes Viral
ALEX GONZAGA – Media personality-turned-YouTuber Alex Gonzaga has failed to pull a prank on her good friend Mariel Padilla.
Catherine Cruz Gonzaga Morada also known as Alex Gonzaga, is a Filipina actress, tv host, and vlogger. She’s one of the most popular content creators in the country. She’s friends with fellow Youtube stars Ivana Alawi, Zeinab Harake, and Donnalyn Bartolome.
The 34-year-old internet sensation is known for her funny antics and wackiness. Netizens love her for her authenticity, generosity, and being down-to-earth. Her older sister Toni Gonzaga is also a vlogger.
Alex Gonzaga is married to Lipa City Councilor Mikee Morada. She and her husband recently moved to their first new home. She gave her fans a glimpse of their condo on her Youtube channel.
According to her, she decided to renovate the place because it looks old like it suited her mom’s taste. “Isa itong 3-bedroom unit dita sa New York, ang feeling. Ito yung dating look nung condo ko pero feeling ko kasi na mas nababagay siya sa Mommy Pinty living. Pero dahil pa-hip and happening kaming mag-asawa, wala, ako lang, walang kinalaman si Mikee dito, inisip ko na ipa-renovate,” she said.

Recently, Alex Gonzaga once again trended on social media due to her latest vlog. In the vlog, she decided to conduct a hilarious prank call on both her family and friends.
Included in the celebs that she decided to prank was Senator Robin Padilla’s wife Mariel Padilla. Mariel is also a close friend of her sister.
For the prank, Alex Gonzaga asked Mariel Padilla if she could lend her P500K for a bag she wanted to buy. Before pranking the former host, however, the vlogger disclosed that Mariel has been asking her to sell some of her bags.
“Gusto ni ate Mariel na ibenta ko yung mga secondhand ko sa live selling nya. Ngayon, ang gagawin ko, ‘Ate Mariel, mag-aadvance muna ako sayo,” Alex said.
When Mariel picked up, the Youtube star wasted no more time trying to prank her friend which led to a funny disaster. The former host was not convinced at all and told Alex that she knows she was being pranked.
“Ako ay pina-prank mo ah. Pina-prank mo ko! Madami kang pera, pina-prank mo ko! Eh kasi kilala kita! Kilala kita talaga to the max,” said Mariel.
