Robin Padilla and his family received this teat from PGMA
Senator Robin Padilla received a gift from former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo for his win in the 2022 elections.
The neophyte lawmaker surprised many people when he became the number one Senator. He and his wife celebrity vlogger Mariel Padilla have been very vocal that they lacked machinery during the campaign.
Fortunately, there were people who helped them and one of them was the second female President of the Republic of the Philippines. Previously, Robin Padilla called PGMA and her husband former First Gentleman Mike Arroyo his “secret weapon” during the elections.
Following his success in the senatorial race, Robin received a treat from the Arroyos. In a recent Instagram post of Mariel, she shared that they spent a vacation at Balesin Island and this is courtesy of the former President.
“We had an unforgettable vacation with the Arroyos. Sir FG and Madame PGMA’s treat for Robin because he won. Baliktad because kami ang nagpapasalamat sa kanila,” the celebrity vlogger said. Mariel acknowledged the tremendous support they got from the Arroyo couple.
She shared that it was the Arroyos who organized rallies and meetings for her husband because they had no financial means of doing these things for Robin’s campaign. “Super nilang bait, super down to earth ng buong pamilya. Akala mo nakaka intimidate pero lahat sila as in lahat sila super bait!!! Most important is the wisdom they shared and continue to share with us.” the former Pinoy Big Brother host shared.
The wife of the Senator also said that they are indeed thankful to PGMA and her family. Mariel included in this post several photos taken during their stay in Balesin. Robin Padilla also shared an appreciation post for the Arroyos.
