The Davao Oriental State University students endured the heavy rain and flood on their graduation day.
A Facebook user named Nisielgrace Elesio Ambasan has shared the photos of students from Davao Oriental State University enduing the heavy rains and floods during their graduation day.
The photos have been taken last Wednesday (July 13, 2022) during the 2nd Commencement Exercises of Davao Oriental State University. The post quickly circulates online and garnered various reactions online.
In the photos, it can be seen that the graduands patiently stand and attended their Commencement Exercises outside Baywalk Mati City amid heavy rains. Despite the situation, the students were determined to march on stage and get their diplomas.
“The show must go on po. Basang-basa po talaga kami lahat ng graduates and parents during the ceremony. Kahit nanginginig na kami sa ginaw at namumulta na po yung paa namin kase nakababad po sa baha habang umuupo po kami, at the end all was worth it talaga,” Ambasan said.
Ambasan has also expressed her happiness after the school faculty declared that they officially graduated.
