Traffic Offender Airs Dismay Due to P70k Worth of Penalty For Committing Multiple Violations

A traffic offender is required to pay P70, 000 worth of penalty after committing multiple violations since January 2022.

The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH Spotted” has shared the video footage of a traffic offender who expressed his disappointment with his penalty worth P70, 000. The post garnered various reactions online.

In the video, it can be seen that the traffic violator holds numerous envelopes informing him of the traffic violations he committed. The latter commit the violations in Valenzuela City.

The middle-aged man revealed that each envelope is worth P3, 000. The violator has to pay P70, 000 to clear all his violations. He explained that all violations have been recorded since January 2022.

The man said that the first offense per violation is worth P1, 000.

According to the reports, most cities within Metro Manila have been implementing “No Contact Apprehension”. The violations committed by motorists along the road will be recorded without apprehension.

The vehicle drivers and motorcycle riders have been advised to obey the traffic policy and observe lane marking, traffic signs, traffic lights, and other traffic rules. Obeying the traffic policies will help motorists to avoid such incidents.
