Ruffa Gutierrez Mentions “Bardagulan” Amid Recent Issue

Ruffa Gutierrez greets all the “Mariteses”

Actress Ruffa Gutierrez mentioned the word “bardagulan” during a recent episode of It’s Showtime amid the recent issue about her.

To recall, Ruffa faced a recent controversy when Cong. Rowena Guanzon said that the actress fired her helpers without giving them their salaries. The actress has clarified that this is fake news. In a statement released by Ruffa’s lawyer, her side was clarified and they are willing to do necessary legal actions and remedies regarding this issue.

Amid the issue, talent manager Annabelle Rama, the mother of Ruffa Gutierrez, shared a social media post about a person who has been attacking her daughter. Although Annabelle did not mention any name, it was quite obvious that she is referring to Guanzon.

The party list representative appeared to have answered the said social media tirade of Annabelle. With this, netizens can’t help but think that this is the beginning of the “bardagulan” between the two women.

On Monday’s episode of It’s Showtime’s segment featuring beautiful ladies, Ruffa was one of the judges and she mentioned the term “bardagulan.” She was introduced and she greeted the “madlang people.”

“Hello, madlang people, including all the Mariteses there!” the actress said while smiling. Vhong Navarro, one of the mainstay hosts, asked her why she greeted the Mariteses.

“I want them to enjoy the show. Nandito si Anne,” Ruffa answered and gestured her hands towards the direction of the stage where Anne Curtis was standing. Beauty queen-turned-actress Kylie Verzosa, who was one of the judges also, said that Ruffa seemed to have something to “chika” about.

Vhong can be heard saying, “Laglagan ha.” Then, Ruffa Gutierrez admitted that she does not know the meaning of “bardagulan.” The actress even mispronounced the term and this made other hosts laugh.

I don’t know the word ‘bargalugan’ ha. I have to google it. Wala siya sa dictionary,” Ruffa said and Kylie responded that her co-judge has already mentioned this last week. “Hindi ko siya mahanap. Sorry, I don’t know what it means,” the Maid in Malacanang actress added.
