PAGASA Says Easterlies & Localized Thunderstorms to Affect PH Weather Condition
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies will continue to bring cloudy to rainy condition over some parts of the country.
On Saturday (June 25, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will continue to affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country and Mindanao. It will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Davao Region, Agusan del Sur, and Surigao del Sur.
The easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region and the provinces of Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon and Northern Samar.
The Easterlies/Localized Thunderstorms will bring similar weather condition over Davao Region, Agusan del Sur, and Surigao del Sur as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro are expected to experience the same weather condition.
The coastal water condition over the whole Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro as well as the entire archipelago will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
The weather agency has also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and during severe thunderstorms.
