PAGASA Says PH to Experience Fair Weather Condition in Next 3 Days

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (June 21)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Philippines will experience a fair weather condition within the next three days.

On Tuesday (June 21, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The ridge of high pressure area (HPA) will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the Ridge of High Pressure Area (HPA) is extending over the eastern section of Luzon. It will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather condition over entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The weather agency also reported that the entire country will have a fair weather condition until Friday due to monsoon break, according to weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio.

“Patuloy pa rin ang pag-iral ng monsoon break at ridge of HPA sa silangang bahagi ng Luzon kaya magiging maganda ang panahon na ating mararanasan sa bansa sa susunod na tatlong araw,”Aurelio said.

Aurelio said that no low pressure area has been monitored with the Philippine Area of Responsibility. However, sudden isolated rains are still possible. “Itong mga pag-ulan na ito, maaaring mahina hanggang sa katamtaman hanggang sa kung minsan, may malalakas na pag-ulan,” Aurelio added.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the entire archipelago will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
