Directors made revelations about Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo
Start-Up PH directors Jerry Sineneng and Dominic Zapata shared their experience working with the series lead stars Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo.
Alden and Bea’s first teleserye together is the Pinoy version of the hit K-drama series. This is the first TV project of the actress as a Kapuso however, this is not the first time for them to work together. They already did a shampoo commercial prior to this.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Manila Bulletin, direk Jerry Sineneng revealed that he is a fan of Alden Richards. “Galing na galing ako sa kanya dun,” the director said about the actor’s performance in Hello, Love, Goodbye.
Direk Jerry said that he is now a bigger fan of Alden because he is now a witness to how the actor is on set. “Hindi ko alam, may magic si Alden. Napapasaya niya yung set,” the director shared adding that he does not know how Alden would lighten up a heavy scene.
“Kahit malalaki yung eksena, kahit lupaypay na kayo sa pagod… mabiro kasi yun in a positive way. Napakasarap katrabaho,” Direk Jerry said, adding that he hopes this will not be his last project with Alden Richards.
When it comes to Bea Alonzo, the director said that the actress is like wine. “Parang alak, habang tumatagal, gumagaling. Napakahusay na niya,” he said. Direk Jenny added that once Bea would put her heart into something, expect a wonderful result.
Direk Dominic Zapata highlighted the “natural chemistry” that Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo have. He said that he has been hearing good words about the actress and he has proven these to be true when they started working together.
Direk Dominic also said that when he set the bar higher, the actress was able to exceed his expectation. “I love it when she arrived on the set, hindi lang niya alam yung lines niya, alam niya yung buong nangyayari sa istorya. Binasa niya yung buong script… Alam niya yung nangyayari sa istorya ng ibang characters. That’s the mark of not only a consummate professional pero someone who’s a veteran. And ang bata pa niya pero veteran na siya umasta. Ang dami niyang alam,” he shared.
