Now that she is in the Kapuso network, her first acting job is the Pinoy adaptation of the South Korean drama Start-Up with Alden Richards. During a recent interview for the beauty brand that she is endorsing, based on the article in Inquirer, the actress was asked if she got rusty after taking a break from acting for three years.

“Of course! You need practice. And there’s pressure because I know GMA has expectations from me,” Bea Alonzo said. However, she said that she sees the pressure in a positive way.

“Though you may get a bit rusty, I know that artists can draw inspiration from personal experiences. And I have had an abundance of experiences these past few years,” the former Kapamilya actress said.

Starting an acting project again after a few years was also made easier by the fact that Bea is working again with Jerry Lopez-Sineneng, one of the directors of Start-Up,  who she worked with in the defunct Kapamilya series A Love To Last.

Bea also highlighted that working with her leading man is so easy. “I know he’s going to be a big help to me especially since it’s my first time working with most people in the production team,” she said.

The actress added that she and Alden clicked easily and she is comfortable working with her. Prior to this TV series, the two Kapuso stars already worked together in a shampoo commercial two years ago. Bea Alonzo also shared that she tagged along with Alden Richards at GMA events and he introduced her to people.
