RAYMOND GUTIERREZ – Famous personality Raymond Gutierrez speaks about his life after coming out and what his honesty brought to him.
Of what has been an open secret for a long time. Raymond Gutierrez, from the famous Gutierrez family, finally admitted he’s gay last 2021. The pandemic brought him a lot of realizations and that fueled him to finally face his reality based on a previous article.
He is aware of the ridicule and the judgment that may come after coming out but he’s thankful that people around him, the people that matter, showered him love and support. He expressed he’s lucky with his family and friends.
And for those people in suppressing situations in their lives, he wanted them to know that sexuality is just a part of their whole. He has his platform and he wanted to empower them. He added that it’s just one aspect of who they are and it won’t necessarily define them.
Coming out for him is liberating. He felt free and he’s grateful because his family is supportive and loving of his reality. Being gay before was a big struggle for him because, as per his words, “being gay before is different from being gay now”.
He added based on a report from PEP, “Andaming nag-DM [direct message] sa akin, ‘Because of your interview, I had the courage to talk to my family about my sexuality. I got inspired to live my authentic self, my authentic life, and really start living my life to the fullest.”
In the same narrative, Mond admitted that he is currently in a relationship with someone who is based in America.
