Imee Marcos Reveals Imelda Is “Maliksing-maliksi”, Grateful for 2nd Chance

Imelda Marcos is overexcited over her son’s win says Imee Marcos who is grateful for the second chance for their family.

IMEE MARCOS – Politician Imee Marcos said her mother is doing fine since BBM’s win and is thankful for the second chance from the people.

The people have spoken and the majority of the votes go to Bongbong Marcos – the presumptive president. And following his victory, his mother, Imelda Marcos who is already 92 years old, seemed to have lost all her ailments and diseases due to her son’s triumph to catch the highest position in the country.

According to her daughter, Senator Imee Marcos, she is very excited and very happy over the results of the May 9 polls. She said during an interview at the Batasang Pambansa Complex where Bongbong is set to be proclaimed as the next president of the country, “Siyempre ‘yung nanay ko sobrang excited. Tuwang-tuwa siya sa mga pangyayari.”

She added that Imelda was suddenly able to hear and walk. And all the physical pain she’s been feeling is all gone now.

In the same interview, she expressed that she’s grateful for the second chance the majority of Filipino people have given her family. She claimed that they’ve been mocked and oppressed for many years – during the years after their father was ousted from the position as a dictator.

The past four decades have been hard for their family and now that her brother finally won, they are seeing it as an indication that people are seeking tough and strong leadership. They believed they were at the wrong end of criticisms.

To recall, the People Power Revolution happened in 1986 renowned globally as a bloodless revolution to oust their father under Martial Law as a dictator. The Marcoses flew to Hawaii and after that, their father returned facing graft and corruption charges. Huge amounts of ill-gotten wealth acquired by the Marcos family were also discovered.
