Gab Valenciano said that he was misjudged due to the past issue with his ex-wife
Showbiz personality Gab Valenciano revealed that he received death threats during the height of the issue that he had with his ex-wife Tricia Centenera.
Gab and Tricia got married in 2014. In 2018, news surfaced that they had already broken up and allegedly it was Gab’s fault. It was alleged that the son of Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and talent manager Angeli Pangilinan cheated on his wife.
Following this, during an interview, Tricia shared that she and Gab remained friends despite that their marriage failed. In a recent interview on comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz’s YouTube Channel, Gab Valenciano recalled the tough time he went through when he and Tricia Cenetera separated.
He said that he received death threats. “Oo, ‘papatayin ka namin,’” Gab shared the messages that he would receive from other people. These were prompted by the cheating allegations against him.
“Yun yung mga lumabas sa news. Hindi ako biningyan ng boses,” the showbiz personality said. He also said that he chose not to speak anymore to avoid the issue being aggravated.
He also shared that eventually, those people who judged him at first realized his real personality and so, they apologized to him. Gab said that just recently, he received a lengthy message from a person who was one of those who shared articles against him after his divorce.
When asked about his silence which was assumed by many people that he was guilty, Gab Valenciano said that being silent will not be effective if the person does not act upon it. “I let my actions speak for me,” he said adding that whatever he would say might be used negatively against him.
