Sandro Marcos and Rowena Guanzon met in an event
Incoming Ilocos Norte’s first district congressman Sandro Marcos did this when he saw incoming P3PWD Partylist Representative Rowena Guanzon, one of the critics of his father, presumptive President Bongbong Marcos.
The intense criticisms that Guanzon threw at the son of former President Ferdinand Marcos started before she officially resigned as Comelec Commissioner. She revealed that she voted to disqualify BBM. Although she also received criticism for leaking her vote, she continued to stand by her belief.
From that, Guanzon continued to criticize the UniTeam’s presidential candidate as she is supporting the candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo. She even did a “ngiwi challenge” as an attack against BBM.
Despite the things she said against the presumptive Philippine President, Rowena Guanzon received respect from Bongbong Marcos’s son Sandro Marcos. Based on the Twitter post of SMNI reporter MJ Mondejar, the incoming congressman greeted and shook the hand of the former Comelec Commissioner.
It can be seen in the photo that Sandro went to the table where Guanzon was sitting. The young politician extended his hand and his eyes were smiling. This happened during the meeting with incoming and comebacking lawmakers in the 19th Congress.
