PAGASA Says ITCZ to Bring Rains Over Some Parts of Country
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring rains over some parts of the country.
On Saturday (May 14, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The Intertropical Convergence Zone will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Mindanao. The ITCZ will bring cloudy condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region.
Partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon as well as the rest of Mindanao.
The Easterlies/localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro.
Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country will also experience similar weather condition.

Pagasa warned the public of possible flash floods and landslides in rain-affected areas.
The coastal water condition over northern Luzon and the rest of the archipelago will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
