Mariel Padilla says Robin Padilla will do his best
Celebrity vlogger Mariel Padilla shared her reaction to the recent partial and unofficial election result wherein her husband Robin Padilla is leading the senatorial race.
Many were surprised when the action star announced that he will be joining the political arena this year and eventually, he filed his certificate of candidacy.
It is a known fact that many voters questioned his credibility to be part of the senate. There were netizens who expressed dismay when his name was flashed in election surveys with high percentage compared to seasoned politicians.
Surprised and shocked reactions even hyped up when partial and unofficial election result showed that he is the senatorial candidate who got the highest number of votes, as of this writing.
In an interview, Robin Padilla said that he can’t believe that he is number one also in the senatorial race but he thanked his supporters for making this happened.
His wife, Mariel Padilla is also thankful. In one of the recent Instagram Stories of the celebrity vlogger, she shared a message showing gratitude to everyone who voted for her husband.
“Thank you so much to my friends who have messaged me telling me that they voted for Robin,” Mariel said. She also said that she is overwhelmed. Then, the former Pinoy Big Brother host said that she knows her husband will not fail those who voted for him.
“Ibang klase ang pakiramdam. Salamat na marami. I know Robin will do his best. Hindi niya sasayangin ang boto niyo. Salamat sa tiwala,” Mariel Padilla stressed.
The celebrity vlogger has been very supportive of the political journey of her husband. She admitted in a previous interview that one of the reasons that she did online selling was to fund her husband’s candidacy.
