JV Ejercito Platforms If He Wins Senator & His Accomplishments

JV EJERCITO PLATFORMS – Here are the accomplishments of JV Ejercito and the things he promises to do if he gets elected as Senator in the May 2022 Elections.

Joseph Victor Gomez Ejercito is a businessman and politician who served as a senator from 2013 to 2019. He is the son of former president Erap Estrada and half-brother of former senator Jinggoy Estrada.

The 52-year-old politician is included in the Senatorial slate of Ping Lacson’s tandem with Senate President Tito Sotto III as well as the Senate line-up of Sen. Manny Pacquiao. JV’s candidacy was endorsed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in Feb. 2022.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

JV Ejercito was born on December 26, 1969, to the then newly-elected San Juan Mayor Erap Estrada and fellow celeb Guia Gomez. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from De La Salle University.

JV is married to Hyacinth Lotuaco. They have a son named Julio Jose. The politician also has an older son, Jose Emilio.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

As a lawmaker in the Senate, JV filed a total of 140 bills and resolutions. He principally authored over 17 laws. He credited himself as the author of the Universal Health Care Act of the Philippines.

JV also chaired the Senate Committee on Economic Affairs and the Committee on Urban Planning, Housing and Resettlement, and the Health and the Demography Committee in the seventeenth Congress.
