MANNY PACQUIAO’S PLATFORMS – Here are the accomplishments of Senator Manny Pacquiao and his plans if he wins the May 2022 Elections.
One of the 10 presidential candidates in the upcoming May 2022 Elections is Sen. Manny Pacquiao, the standard-bearer of PROMDI. He is vocal about his plans to fight corruption, boost housing, and uplift the lives of the poor Filipinos.
Personal Background:
Sen. Manny Pacquiao is a boxing champion in multiple divisions before he entered politics. His rags-to-riches life story is not a secret to the public. He was born in poverty and he even had to quit school to work and help provide for his family. He is vocal about his hunger experiences saying his heart goes to people who are experiencing it.
The success of Sen. Pacquiao in boxing has helped him take his family out of poverty. They now own several multi-million residential properties across the nation and they also have a mansion abroad. They have businesses which are managed by his wife, Jinkee.
Sen. Manny and Jinkee have five (5) children – Jimuel, Michael, Princess, Queenie, and Israel. Their eldest son, Jimuel, is now an amateur boxer and recently won a fight abroad.
Pacquiao has a degree in Political Science which he took at the University of Makati. He is not only a boxer and politician but also an actor and a singer. He announced his retirement from boxing after he confirmed his presidential bid for May 2022 Elections.
Accomplishments:
As a lawmaker, Sen. Pacquiao has authored 10 bills and co-authored 15 other bills based on Senate’s website. During his term as a member of the House of Representatives, he passed one law – the Republic Act 10828 which established a regular district branch of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Sarangani.
