SYLVIA SANCHEZ – Screen veteran Sylvia Sanchez makes her daughter cry because of this comment of hers about her acting skills.
Among the screen veterans in local show business that many people look up to is Sylvia Sanchez. She is one of the country’s finest actresses who can pull off any role and whose expertise is in drama. Her children, Ria and Arjo Atayde, are also in the industry just like her.
And last year, Ria marked her 6th year in the show business, and in a previous article, she has nothing but gratitude for the past six years in her career. And when it comes to her acting skills, her screen veteran mother has made this comment that made her tear up.
As her daughter’s number 1 critic, Sylvia said that her daughter truly has the talent and she wouldn’t say she’s “magaling” just because of their relationship. She’s saying that she is really good at it because she really is and she has seen it. She is saying it as her daughter’s top critic.
Sylvia said, “Alam ko kaya ni Ria e. Nakita ko naman ‘yung kapasidad ng anak ko. Hindi ko naman sasabihin na magaling siya kung ‘di siya magaling kasi ako ‘yung critic niya e. From Day 1 pagpasok niya sa showbiz, nakita ko naman.”
The real-life mother-daughter tandem has an upcoming iWant series called “Misis Piggy”. In this series, Atayde is her eldest and this is their first project together as lead stars. The first project they’ve had is in the daytime series “Ningning”.
According to an ABS-CBN report, the series will start streaming this April 25.
