How’s Ria Atayde & Arjo Atayde’s Relationship As Siblings?
RIA ATAYDE – The Kapamilya actress made revelations about her relationship with her brother, actor Arjo Atayde.
Several celebrities in the Philippine showbiz industry are related to each other in real life. The children of Sylvia Sanchez, Arjo and Ria, also joined the same industry where their mother is known as a veteran.
Both Ria and Arjo are under the ABS-CBN Network like their mother. However, the franchise of the Kapamilya network came to its expiry and it failed to obtain a fresh new franchise.
The House Franchise Committee junked the bid of ABS-CBN for a new franchise with a 70/11 voting last July 10. Until now, the network has yet to return on-air.
Ria Atayde is one of those who are vocal about her disappointment regarding the junking of ABS-CBN’s franchise bid. Speaking to Pep, she tagged it as “injustice”.
During the interview, the actress also talked about her relationship with Arjo Atayde. She admitted that she and her brother also had quarrels while they were growing up.
According to Ria, Arjo is really fond of teasing her until she cries. On her part, she would bite her brother hard or would tell their parents about what he’s doing. Meanwhile, she is really grateful that she grew up with him.

Ria Atayde revealed that she and Arjo shared a lot of things like the games they love to play. She revealed that he is conservative when it comes to clothing so he would sometimes call her attention.
Based on the interview, when it comes to love life, Ria Atayde and Arjo Atayde don’t talk much about it. She stressed that her brother’s opinion matters a lot to him so she just let it pass when she’s annoyed over someone to avoid the ultimate disapproval of the person from her brother.
“I love Arjo, I love him so much. Kami ni Arjo very (giving) when it comes to love life… Above all things what really struck me about Arjo is, ‘Okay lang, go do what you want as long as you have the upper hand and you leave some for yourself’ (on advice from Arjo about love),” the actress said.
