PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Thursday (April 21)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that hot and humid weather condition will prevail over most parts of the country.
On Thursday (April 21, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies and the rest of the country will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the easterlies will be affecting the entire country. The Easterlies/localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.
Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Northern Samar as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition.
Pagasa weather specialist Grace Castañeda said that the easterlies or warm wind from the Pacific Ocean will bring hot and humid weather condition over most parts of the country.
“Dala pa rin nito yung mainit at maalinsangan na panahon lalo na sa tanghali, at yung mga tsansa ng pulo pulong pag ulan o panandaliang pag-ulan lalo na sa hapon sa gabi,” Castañeda said.
Castañeda also advised the public to stay indoors and limit outdoor activities or direct exposure to the sun to avoid heat stroke and dehydration.
The weather agency has also advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Extreme northern Luzon as well as the remaining parts of the archipelago will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
