Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca was surprised by the rumors that his best friend Gerald Anderson and actress Julia Barretto are set to get married.

However, just a few days after the breakup confirmation, rumors surfaced that Gerald wanted Julia back. Allegedly, a reconciliation happened between them.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Jake Cuenca was asked about the rumors that Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto will tie the knot in 2016.
The Batang Quiapo actor was shocked to hear this. It was the first time he heard about this. “Wow! Really? Oh my God! Ngayon ko lang nalaman ‘yon! Totoo ba? Are we 110% sure or tsismis pa lang ito?” he said.
Jake also said that he will ask his best friend about this. “Sandali lang, hindi ako ang Best Man? Magmo-motor kami, I have to find out and I will update you guys,” the actor enthused.
On the other hand, he said that he would be thrilled to be Gerald’s best man if ever. He enthused that it would be okay for him also if he were the ring bearer. “I will do it for him because he is my brother,” he said.
Jake also shared that he and Julia are okay ever since. He also said that he is rooting for the actress and his best friend amid the breakup issue. Jake said that this is because, for him, Gerald and Julia look good together.
