PAGASA Says Hot & Humid Weather Expected Over Most Parts of PH

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies will bring hot and humid weather over most parts of the country.

On Wednesday (April 20, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical and Astronomical Services released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the easterlies will be affect the entire country. Partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected over Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Northern Samar.

The Easterlies/Localized Thunderstorms will bring similar weather condition over Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Benguet and Aurora as well as Mindanao.

Metro Manila, Visayas and the remaining parts of the country will experience the same weather condition with possibilities of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the easterlies, or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean will continue to bring hot and humid weather conditions over most parts of the Philippines. Fair and warm weather is also expected over Luzon including Metro Manila.

Visayas and Mindanao will have also a fair weather except for possible scattered rains or thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening due to localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the Extreme northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The rest of the archipelago will experience a slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
