This is how Zanjoe Marudo faces heartbreak
Kapamilya actor Zanjoe Marudo opened up about the way how he is dealing with heartbreak and grief that he has experienced in his life.
Just like other people, celebrities are also not immune to pain. In their lives, despite their social status, there are also moments when they are challenged emotionally. For Zanjoe, there is a specific way that would make him feel better when grief comes along his way.
He said that it has been an automatic thing for him to travel alone every time he would feel pain or when he is grieving. During these times, the actor said that he just wants to distance himself from everything around him.
Through this, he will feel that he is more connected to himself. “I need some distance and take a step back, so I can be closer to myself, understand what I’m feeling and acknowledge the circumstances surrounding me,” Zanjoe Marudo said during a press conference for his new movie 366 with JC Santos and Bela Padilla, based on the article in Inquirer.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Zanjoe admitted that he almost lost his hope when it comes to his career in acting and it is because of the pandemic and the fact that his home network ABS-CBN was not granted a new franchise.
Fortunately, during the time when he was not sure of what to do next, he received a call about a new offer and it was a big one. It was for his male lead role in the Kapamilya series The Broken Marriage Vow, the Pinoy adaptation of the British series Doctor Foster. With this, Zanjoe Marudo said that he was “nabuhayan uli.”
