Is it true that Rabiya Mateo is a BBM supporter?
Speculations surfaced that Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo is a supporter of presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos because of this video.
Rabiya, from her stint in the world of pageantry, has ventured into acting. She is now a contract artist of GMA and has started her first regular series Agimat ng Agila with seasoned actor Senator Bong Revilla.
Based on the article in Balita, netizens have been talking about a recent video of Bong and Rabiya. In the video, the Senator said, “Nandito na si…!” Then, the video showed Rabiya Mateo who was behind him.
The Ilongga beauty was wearing a pink sleeveless top and after she was shown on-screen she shouted, “Bongbong!” Sen. Bong laughed at her and said, “Hoy!”
After this, Rabiya shared her message for the Filipino voters. “Ah, mag-ingat po kayong lahat, at ‘yon po… iboto ang pinaka-deserving na tao because Filipinos deserve nothing but the best,” she said. The actor-politician agreed with what the beauty queen-turned-actress said.
“Yes, of course… kailangang the best talaga,” the lawmaker said. In line with this, several netizens speculated that Rabiya is supporting the presidential candidacy of Bongbong Marcos. There were also those who said that she should brace herself for the bashings that she might receive because of this.
On the other hand, there were netizens who showed photos of Rabiya Mateo wearing a pink outfit, the campaign color of Vice President Leni Robredo. A screenshot showing that the Kapuso actress liked the post of VP Leni’s daughter was also flaunted. As of this writing, Rabiya Mateo has not spoken about these speculations yet.
