PAGASA Says Easterlies to Bring Hot Weather Condition Over Entire PH
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies will bring hot and humid weather condition over the entire country.
On Wednesday (March 30, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.
“Easterlies naman po o ‘yung mainit na hangin mula sa Dagat Pacifico ‘yung kasalukuyan pong umiiral dito po sa buong bahagi ng ating bansa,” Pagasa weather specialist Grace Castañeda said.
PAGASA reported that the Easterlies will be affecting the country. Partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms is expected over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
The easterlies will bring similar weather condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga and Apayao.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The weather agency said that the easterlies will bring hot weather in the entire country with possibilities of isolated rains during afternoon and evening.
“Dala pa rin po nito ‘yung mainit at maalinsangan na panahon at ‘yung mga tsansa ng pulo-pulong pag-ulan, pagkulog, at pagkidlat lalong-lalo na po ‘yan sa hapon at sa gabi,” Castañeda added.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the northern and eastern seaboards will be moderate to rough, according to the weather bureau. The low-pressure area being monitored by PAGASA has left the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Tuesday (March 29).
