Former Sen. Bongbong Marcos Endorsed by Nacionalista Party led by Former Sen. Manny Villar
BONGBONG MARCOS – The former Senator reacted to the endorsement of former Sen. Manny Villar’s Nacionalista Party.
Now that there is less than two (2) months left before the Elections 2022, several groups, political parties, public figures, and private individuals have already made up their minds on who to support in the upcoming poll. Some have already made a public endorsement.
One of the presidential candidates in the upcoming May 2022 Elections is former Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. He is leading the presidential race based on the results of the surveys conducted by Pulse Asia. He is the standard-bearer of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.
Several political groups have expressed their support for the presidential bid of Marcos Jr. Recently, the Cusi faction of the ruling party PDP-Laban endorsed the former Senator as their presidential bet in the upcoming election.
The endorsement of PDP-Laban Cusi wing gained different reactions from the people and as well as the other members of the political party. The wife of the late former Sen. Aquilino “Nene” Pimentel Jr. who is one of the party’s founders and his son, Sen. Koko Pimentel, expressed disagreement with the decision of the Cusi faction citing that the party was created against Marcos Martial Rule.
Recently, another political party, Nacionalista Party which is managed by business tycoon and former Sen. Manny Villar, endorsed former Sen. Bongbong Marcos for president. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas is very happy about the endorsement most especially since it came from the party where he came from.
“We’re very happy everytime meron tayong nakukuhang suporta lalong-lalo na sa pinanggalingan naming partido,” Marcos Jr. said.
Furthermore, the former Senator tagged it “good” that their friends and allies have now come together. His statement was given during his campaign sortie in Zamboanga. He flew to the Davao region after it.
