Kakampinks, supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo, slammed the birthday greeting of Senator Ping Lacson for President Rodrigo Duterte.

The Chief Executive celebrated his 77th birthday on March 28. In a previous report, acting presidential spokesperson Martin Andanar shared the President’s birthday wish.

Duterte aspires to have a clean and honest election this coming May 9. Several prominent people in the world of politics and other sectors have also expressed their wishes and birthday greetings for the Chief Executive.

Through his Twitter post, Senator Ping Lacso also shared his message for President Duterte. “Happy 77th birthday Mr President. I wish you good health and peaceful life after noontime on June 30,” the presidential aspirant said.

Lacson also shared that when he was going through a difficult time, Duterte was there and he will never forget this. “We may have disagreed on several issues, even called each other out a few times, but I can never forget you were there for me in one of my difficult times in the distant past,” the Senator said.

In the comment section of Lacson’s tweet, several Kakampinks slammed VP Leni’s opponent in the presidential race. A netizen questioned if Lacson has tweeted about Robredo even once. There were also those who accused the running mate of Senate President Tito Sotto of aspiring to get the endorsement from the President.
