Lady Customer Airs Dismay After She Received Rock Instead of Drone
A lady customer received several pieces of rocks instead of drone she ordered from an online store.
Over the past few years, many people love to shop and order mobile gadgets, appliances, and other items at various online shopping platforms. Customers find it more affordable compared to actual mall prices.
However, scammers are already using different modus operandi to scam their victims. The authorities have already warned the public to be more vigilant and aware of having transactions to avoid being a victim of a scam.
The Facebook page “ABS-CBN” News has shared the video footage of a lady customer who received rocks instead of drone. The video goes viral and elicits comments online.
In the video, it can be seen that the customer named Ma Kristina Li from Brgy. San Vicente in Santa Ana, Cagayan has received her most-awaited parcel. She and her husband noticed that the parcel is quite smaller rather than the usual box.
The couple asked permission of the delivery rider to open the box in his presence. The customer has also filmed the unboxing procedure for security purposes and the rider also agree.
Kristina opened the box using a cutter and everything seems to be fine until she found rocks covered with black plastic bags. No drone has been found inside the box, which proves that it was a scam.
Luckily, the considerate delivery rider returned the P30, 000 payment of the customer. Li initially though that the store is legitimate due to high ratings and good reviews.
