Viral Teacher Who Received Rock Instead of Cellphone She Ordered Online Finally Recovers Money
The poor teacher in viral video who received a rock instead of a mobile phone has finally recovered the money she had spent.
Earlier this week, the video footage of a young lady who cried after receiving an empty box without the mobile phone she ordered online goes viral and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
The female customer received the parcel she ordered from a popular online shopping platform and decided to open the box. Initially, she found several accessories including the charger as she opened the box.
Unfortunately, the teacher opened and checked the entire box of “TECNO CamOn” mobile phone but found no mobile phone on it. She went hysterical and cried.
The teacher identified Catherine Magtangob from Capalonga, Camarines Norte said that her parcel is worth P15, 000. The parcel was paid via cash on delivery method and the delivery rider instructed her to film the unboxing process.
Magtangob and her colleagues were able to reach the rider but the latter refused to return the money. The victim immediately reported the incident to the police station.
Eventually, teacher Catherine recovered the money she spend for the phone. Magtangod revealed that she ordered a phone online because her old phone is already broke.
The victim saved the amount to buy a new phone but ended up being scammed. She also refused the name the online platform. She is now more cautious when ordering products online.
