Is this fiery statement of Kris Aquino referring to Herbert Bautista?
Celebrity Kris Aquino appeared to have this “patutsada” against her ex-fiance actor-politician Herbert Bautista who is running for senator in the 2022 elections.
It is known in the entertainment world that Kris and Herbert had a romantic past. The actress-host has talked about their past relationship several times in her social media posts. Unfortunately, their relationship ended.
On March 23, Kris surprised many supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo in Tarlac as she joined the campaign rally despite the fact that she is going through a hard time when it comes to her health.
Talking with actress Angel Locsin on stage, based on the article in PEP, Kris Aquino sounded like she was taking a swipe at Herbert Bautista.
“Kahit umuulan, uma-attend. Rain or shine, walang excuse, lumalabas. Kasi yun naman gusto natin sa isang tao, di po ba? Kapag hahanap ka ng kaibigan, karelasyon, kailangan laging nandyan para sa iyo, hindi tuwing eleksyon lang,” Angel said and Kris said, “ouch”.
However, Angel said that Kris is always present in helping other people. The latter clarified that she was talking about the “relationship” aspect that Angel mentioned.
“Nandito ba siya?” the wife of film producer Neil Arce asked. Then, Kris answered, “Yung isa nasa Uniteam, yung ex…” Although she did not mention any name, it was very obvious that she was referring to Herbert who is one of the senatorial candidates of UniTeam.
After that, Kris Aquino encouraged the Kakampinks not to vote for that man. “O, wag niyo iboto yun, ha. Sayang ang boto dahil di marunong tumupad sa mga pinangako. Deadma please,” she said.
Angel Locsin jokingly said that people might get angry. Kris answered, “Nagbanggit ka kasi ng karelasyon, e. Baka may masabi akong masama tungkol dun sa isa pa.”
