HARDWORKING GUARD – The security guard garnered praises and admiration online for studying and working at the same time.
A Facebook user named Cristina Sofia Frencilla has shared the inspiring photos of a security guard hardworking studying and working at the same time. The photos garnered various reactions online.
In the photos, the security guard identified as Melquisidec Aurea of Tacloban City is guarding an establishment while answering his assignment. His job is quite simple and easy, which gives him the opportunity to perform his school works.
According to Frencilla, Aurea is doing his plates while guarding New Glory Glass Supply. The guard eagerly performs his homework while zooming his phone. He is studying on his third year taking BS Architecture in EVSU.
Cristina said that the guard does not need a laptop because he already had one but he needs materials and books for his study. Interested individuals can send their donations to Cristina’s Gcash account.

Late at night by 10:00 pm, my sister saw him doing his plates while guarding New Glory Glass Supply (infront of The one), she told us about it. Since my brother is an Architecture graduate and is now a contractor on the establishment next to The one bar. He approached kuya guard and commended his passion for learning. Despite of standing up from time to time, having a lamp that barely lights up his tracing paper and zooming in on his cellphone to see what he’s going to do, he manages to stay motivated.
He said that he’s currently studying BSArchitecture in EVSU and currently on his 3rd year.

His name is Melquisidec P. Aurea, hindi daw po nya needed ang laptop kasi nafully paid na daw po nya yung laptop nya gamit ang sweldo nya sa pag sesecurity guard. What he needs the most is Materials and books po. Pwede rin po financial help ipapambili lang po nya ng books and materials kasi yun yung pinaka needed nya as of now.
