OPM band Parokya Ni Edgar clarifies fake news about performing in rally of Bongbong-Sara tandem.
PAROKYA NI EDGAR – Iconic band Parokya Ni Edgar not performing in a “Uniteam” rally of Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte.
A post has been circulating online indicating the presence of several local artists in the grand rally of The “Uniteam” of presidential bet ex-senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao Mayor Sara Duterte in Zamboanga. The local artists and famous personalities mentioned included Team Payaman, Zack Tabudlo, IV Of Spades, Kamikazee, Parokya Ni Edgar, Agsunta, Philia, and Toni Gonzaga.
And initiating the move to stop the spread of fake news is Parokya ni Edgar. The iconic band immediately denied that they are going to perform in the said event. They posted their denial in their social media account with millions of followers in order to put a stop to it. The band said in the post directly denying the news, “This is not true.”
Other artists such as Blaster Silonga of IV Of Spades, Zack Tabudlo, and Agsunta also did the same thing. Silonga said that it will never accordingly happen, Tabudlo called it fake news, while Agsunta said that he will stay in his house on that day, thus, his presence in the said event is not true.
Meanwhile, in the previous rallies of BBM-Sara tandem, Toni was a constant performer. Other famous artists who already graced their rallies are Karla Estrada, Lyka Gairanod, Silent Sanctuary, Hale, Plethora, Salbakuta, Andrew E, and many others have already graced his rallies held in various provinces across the Philippines.
