BBM supporters criticize performance of Moira Dela Torre during Leni-Kiko rally in Zamboanga.

MOIRA DELA TORRE – Famous singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre was criticized for her performance during the Leni-Kiko rally.

In a previous article, singer Moira Dela Torre became a trending topic for being present during the grand rally of Vice President Leni Robredo and her running mate Senator Kiko Pangilinan in Zamboanga. She stressed that her presence and performance in the rally were not paid. She did it out of willingness and volunteerism.

“Hindi kami bayad,” quips Moira. Also present in the same event are Jolina Magdangal, Rica Peralejo, Nikki Valdez, Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos, Bayang Barrios, Lei Ramos, Gab Valenciano, Mayonnaise, Moonstar88, and Rivermaya.

However, seemingly a deflect to Kakampinks’ criticism against Toni Gonzaga’s “Titanium”, they cut a clip from Moira’s performance. In the clip was a part where Moira struggle to reach the high note of her own song just right before she made the transition to another original song of hers.

The Facebook page Vincentiments, a widely followed platform shared the video and the caption they have put above it said, “asang-asa nga ako.”

Meanwhile, the people behind the short-film producing platform are Darryl Yap and cinematographer Vincent Asis. Yap is a vocal supporter of Bongbong Marco Jr. who appears to be the greatest rival of Robredo in the presidential seat.

On the other hand, thousands have flocked to the Leni-Kiko rally in Freedom Park rally in Zamboanga. Despite the unpredictable weather, an estimated 35,000 people attended. The rally happened near the grave of the late city mayor Cesar Climaco who was firm in standing against the dictatorship of late Marcos before he got assassinated.
