Actress Maris Racal dedicates a birthday greeting post for Rico Blanco.
MARIS RACAL – Young actress Maris Racal greets her boyfriend Rico Blanco on his birthday as he turns 49 years old.
Singer and songwriter Rico Blanco is one of the country’s icons in the music industry. He was a member of Rivermaya but in 2007, he stepped out of the band and pursued a solo career. With and without the band, Blanco is regarded as one of the well-received local music icons in the Philippines.
He is currently in a relationship with Maris Racal, an actress who is more than two decades younger than him. And today, on his special day, he is celebrated by many and one of them is his girlfriend. On Instagram, Maris dedicated a post for him, and the caption that contained her greeting for him said, “happy birthday, my fave subject. 🤠”
Her post was immediately overwhelmed with birthday greetings for her boyfriend.
This year, Blanco turns 49 years old. During the first months after confirming their relationship to the public, their age gap created a loud buzz online but for Maris and Rico, it has never become an issue. In a previous report, their conversations were among the factors that made him fall in love with her. Also, having her as his girlfriend brings out the best in him.
She can make his other side of him go out. He can be playful around her and he’s hopeful about their relationship to be “deeper and richer with so much more memories, music, active projects and stories” in the coming years.
To recall, Maris once revealed that their relationship started pre-pandemic.
