Singer Rico Blanco shares what Maris Racal did that made him fall in love with her.
RICO BLANCO – Singer and producer Rico Blanco opens up about his relationship with Maris Racal and the reason why he fell in love with her.
Celebrity couple Rico Blanco and Maris Racal are in a relationship and it is something they revealed and became open about last year. However, based on a previous article, they officially became a couple even before the pandemic happened. Maris’ mother was cool after knowing about their relationship and it’s all that matters for the former Pinoy Big Brother: All In housemate.
Since they became a tad more open about their relationship, they also started accepting projects together. And recently, they are doing their first acting project together for the iWantTFC Original series entitled The Goodbye Girl.
During The Goodbye Girl mediacon last February 1, he recalled that falling in love with her did not happen instantly. They’ve worked together for the first time almost three years on the single “Abot Langit” and during those times, he’s sure that there’s nothing romantic going on i9n between them. Things just accordingly started to have a turnaround after their collaboration.
He revealed, “I take pride kasi in my professionalism in the studio and no matter if I think the person that I’m working with is attractive or not, or even on the set when I’m doing acting, I take pride in my professionalism. So wala eh. I think it was sometime after we were done working on the song. Sa mga talks namin siguro. Nagkakamustahan kami. DM yata, parang ganun.”
And as for having Maris as his girlfriend, he happily shared that she can absolutely bring out the fun in him. He can be playful with her and it’s because of her that he remembered he also has this child-like fun inside him. She brings out the best in him and according to a report from PUSH, he’s hoping that their relationship would be “deeper and richer with so much more memories, music, active projects and stories” in the coming years.
