Darryl Yap chose not to entertain negative comments against Kiko Pangilinan
Director Darryl Yap apologized to his social media followers that he had to delete mean comments against Senator Kiko Pangilinan because of this reason.
Darryl is known as the think tank behind the Kape Chronicles, Exorcism of Len-len Rose, and now, the Baby M series on Vincentiments’s social media sites. He is also known to be a supporter of the UniTeam of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte.
In one of his Facebook posts, Darryl shared his photo wearing a “Sara All 2022” sweat shirt. He wrote, “Ansarap magmahal ng bisaya. Labyu Inday Sara Duterte, ikaw ang aking Bise-Presidente.”
The Davao City Mayor is running for vice president, the same position that Sen. Kiko Pangilinan is aiming for. In the comment section, apparently, there were those critics of the husband of Sharon Cuneta who commented against him.
Darryl said that he had to delete those mean comments because of his love for the Megastar. “Hi Guys, sorry— I am deleting disrespectful comments pag tungkol kay Kiko, I love Sharon Cuneta very much. Sensya na po,” he said.
Because of this, netizens lauded the director-writer as he valued the connection he has with Sharon despite having different political views. Apparently, this is the reason why Darryl has not posted anything about the recent controversy that the actress-singer faced.
To recall, the Megastar received bashing for criticizing senatorial aspirant Salvador Panelo for singing her song Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas. Netizens and celebrities commented against Sharon Cuneta but Darryl Yap was mum about it.
Sharon and Darryl worked together in the movie Revirginized. This film showed a different side of the Megastar as an actress.
