PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (March 14)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies will bring fair and hot weather condition over most parts of the country.

On Monday (March 14, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies and localized thunderstorms will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the easterlies will prevail over the entire country. Partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms is expected over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather condition over Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao and Mt. Province.

The Easterlies/Localized Thunderstorms will also bring the same weather condition over Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, Occidental Mindoro and Mindanao as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

PAGASA also reported that fair and hot weather will prevail nationwide because of the easterlies.

“Ngayong araw, inaasahan po natin ang maganda at mainit na panahon sa buong bansa dahil sa easterlies,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.

However, several parts of the country may experience that isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms but there is no any weather disturbance that may enter PAR over the next few days.

“Samantala, wala po tayong binabantayan o namo-monitor na low pressure area o bagyo sa loob at sa labas ng ating Philippine area of responsibility,” Aurelio added.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern Luzon will be moderate while the remaining parts of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
