PAGASA Says Three Weather Systems to Affect PH Weather on Saturday (March 12)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the shear line will bring cloudy condition with scattered rains over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (March 12, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The shear line will continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the shear line will be affecting the eastern section of Northern Luzon.

The shear line is expected to bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley and Aurora.

The northeast monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region and the Cordillera Administrative Region.

The easterlies / localized thunderstorm will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas will be moderate to rough. The rest of Visayas and Mindanao will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.

The weather agency also reported that no low-pressure area is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility within the next five days.

“Matapos dumaan ang LPA sa ating bansa na sa ngayon ay malapit na sa southern Vietnam, wala naman tayong inaasahang panibagong LPA o bagyo sa loob ng limang araw,” Pagasa weather specIalist Benison Estareja said.
