Kapuso actress Glaiza De Castro opens up about her wedding, husband, and plans to wed in the Philippines.
GLAIZA DE CASTRO – Famous actress Glaiza De Castro was a glowing bride as she tied the knot with her partner and this is what she said about it.
In an intimate wedding ceremony in Northern Ireland, actress Glaiza De Castro and beau David Rainey tied the knot. In a video they shared when they finally announced their wedding, it can be seen that the ceremony was held on a cliff overlooking the vast ocean under the showers of rain.
She nailed a high ponytail and wore warm brown makeup to match her all-white ensemble. They got engaged on 2020’s Christmas eve and officially sealed the deal last October 2021. It was just this year, in February, that they finally announced their union to the public.
During the Film Ambassadors’ Night of Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) held at the Metropolitan Theater, the actress spoke about her happiness and for being officially a Mrs. Rainey now. She feels surreal and everything’s new for her but at the same time, it feels right and great.
She expressed, “Masaya. Finally, nandiyan na siya. Alam mo yung totoo na, totoo na, na magkasama na kami forever.”
The actress described their wedding as “cold, gray, and rainy” just like his last name. She shared that it was raining and was very cold during their wedding, the reason why she was spotted wearing her jacket towards the end. She could not take the cold anymore.
Her family wasn’t there at their Celtic wedding and this is one of the reasons why they are also planning to hold a wedding here in the Philippines, for her family. They are planning to tie the knot here in 2023.
