Here’s what Cherry Pie said after kissing Edu Manzano that earned loud cheers from the crowd.
EDU MANZANO – Veteran screen actors Edu Manzano and Cherry Pie Picache share a sweet kiss in front Leni Robredo rally’s crowd.
The Leni Robredo-Kiko Pangilinan campaign rally in Iloilo City earned an estimated 40,000 crowd – the biggest, so far, since the campaign period started. The rally was held at the Iloilo Sports Complex on Friday, February 25.
Apart from the crowd, the event was also graced by over a dozen of famous celebrities who are all vocal in supporting the only female in the list of presidential aspirants in this year’s election. Sharon Cuneta, Edu Manzano, Cherry Pie Picache, Bituin Escalante, Gab Valenciano, Precious Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz, Ogie Diaz, JK Labajo, and Rivermaya were the personalities who made an appearance at the rally.
And sharing their sweetness in front of the crowd is couple Cherry Pie and Edu. The actress is a very vocal supporter of Leni and the same goes with Edu who happens to be an Ilonggo. In front of the people, he fluently spoke the dialect. Picache introduced Manzano and the people can be heard cheering “Edu! Edu! Edu!” to chanting “Jowa reveal!” and “Sana all!”
They kissed twice on stage and the second time they did, Picache quipped this which caused loud shrieks of “kilig”: “Ang sarap ng Ilonggo!”
Marjorie Barretto, Ogie Alcasid, and Jose Mari Chan were the other famous celebrities who made their appearance and support for the Leni-Kiko tandem felt during the event.
Pichache and Manzano went out to the public as a couple in late 2021. They starred in “Marry Me, Marry You” where it all began – their second shot at love. It just so happens that two decades ago, they once dated that lasted for nearly a year.
